The Gerard Place Community Center

"Your Future Starts At Our Place"

The Gerard Place Community Center, a place of learning, safety and hope.

In the 25 years that Gerard Place has worked with residents of this community, we have found through research and discussion that there are three major barriers that prevent people from escaping poverty: lack of affordable transportation to education and training sites, lack of childcare for parents who have young children and very few local employment opportunities.

The Gerard Place Community Center’s purpose is to help eliminate these barriers.  This Community Center creates a community anchor for all who are living in the Bailey-Delavan neighborhood of Buffalo’s East Side.  The center is a community resource that can assist more families as they work toward independence.

Make 2025 the year you achieve your dreams!
