August 25, 2020
2020 has turned into a very challenging year as we are not able to host our spring and fall fundraisers. These unrestricted funds are vital to our mission.
What started out as a dream of a small group of Women Religious to help homeless families has grown into helping hundreds of people of all ages with basic needs like food to Workforce Development Training for a new career.
Our Housing Program has had over 325 homeless families reside with us and we are proud to have retained an over 90% success rate of transitioning them back into the community. Our graduates are Nurses, Social Workers and Management Personnel. We are very proud of them.
In a very turbulent year we remain steadfast in our mission to serve the poor. Our food distribution and community meals are busier than ever. Your continued prayers and support ensure that we can continue to respond to the needs of this very poor community. For us to continue this important work it will take the generosity of many and the prayers of all of us. Thank you.
